Welcome to Generation Thatchers. I am Martyn Underwood the 5th Generation Master Thatcher of our Thatching family Business. Our family Business is one of the oldest Master Thatchers Businesses in country dating back over 300 years of thatching within my family. Something to be proud of.

We are award winning Master Thatchers with over 38 years experience within the family Business. We’re fully Qualified with 7 year apprenticeship, city and Guilds certificated.

We are Master Thatchers which means we work with all materials: Reed, Combed wheat Reed and Long straw.
